Beauty Therapist

About This Role

The Beauty Spot is a high street salon in the heart of Wadebridge, providing an excellent range of treatments to an established client base as well as visitors to the area. All our treatments are carried out in large private rooms to promote a sense of relaxation and privacy.

We are looking for a full time Beauty Therapist to join our friendly, supportive team.

About the role

You will carry out a full range of treatments to a high standard, promote the salon and our services, and retail and upsell products and treatments. You will also work on reception and help keep the whole salon clean and hygienic as part of the team.

Our treatments include:

• All types of waxing, including intimate waxing on females
• Standard and luxury CND Shellac manicures and pedicures
• Facials
• Massage, including hot stones
• Eye treatments, including tinting, lash lifting and eyelash extensions
• Electrolysis

Hours

This position is for 32 to 34 hours per week over 4 to 5 days. You will work the same days each week, including one later evening and a Saturday. You will never work Sundays or bank holidays, and we close for a week at Christmas.

Room to grow: Once you have built a regular client base, there is potential to extend this role to 40 hours per week.

We are looking for a therapist with excellent customer service skills who makes every client feel comfortable, from the first point of contact right through to the end of the treatment, building relationships that create a loyal client base.

You will be enthusiastic and passionate about wellness, work exceptionally well in a team, and thrive in a fast paced salon environment while taking pride in yourself and your work. In return, you will be part of a team that is supportive and caring, both to our clients and to each other.

Qualifications

You will need to be qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and be prepared to gain extra qualifications as required to provide a complete range of treatments. Elemis training and experience would be a distinct advantage.
