Back Face & Scalp Massage
A Back Face & Scalp Massage combines focused deep tissue work across the back and shoulders with a calming face and scalp massage. It is designed to ease built-up tension, quieten a busy mind, and leave you feeling lighter through the upper body.
More information
What the Back Face & Scalp Massage covers in one session
This treatment works across three high-tension areas, so you get both targeted muscle relief and a deep sense of calm.
- Deep tissue massage across the back to loosen tight areas and reduce that "knotted" feeling.
- Thorough focus on shoulders and upper back to help with heaviness from desk posture and stress.
- Face massage to soften jaw, brow and facial tension.
- Scalp massage to ease head pressure and promote relaxation.
- A balanced finish that leaves the upper body feeling freer, and the nervous system more settled.
Best suited to tight shoulders, screen fatigue and stress build-up
This Back Face & Scalp Massage is a strong fit if your shoulders creep up during the day, your upper back feels stiff, or you notice tension in your jaw and temples. It also suits people who want a massage that feels restorative without being full-body. If you want visible softening through the face alongside back relief, the combined approach works particularly well.
How the 75-minute appointment is paced
Your therapist will begin by checking comfort, pressure preferences, and any areas to avoid. The hands-on massage time is 60 minutes, typically moving from deep tissue work on the back and shoulders into the face and scalp, so you finish calm rather than rushed. Pressure can be kept firm on the back while staying gentle and soothing through the face and scalp.
After the massage: how to keep the shoulders feeling looser
Drink water and keep the rest of your day lighter if you can, especially after deeper back work. Gentle shoulder rolls and short posture breaks can help the release last longer. If you carry tension regularly, booking at consistent intervals often helps prevent knots building back up to the same level.

I have a back, face and scalp massage and eyebrow tinting once a month with Abbie. Abbie is great and always ask if I have any problem areas to focus on. I was nervous about having my eyebrows tinted but Abbie listened to what I wanted (noticeable tint, but not too obvious) and the look was achieved. Highly recommend the salon and Abbie. Always a lovely welcome and I feel fab after!
